The following term-analysis documents were produced as part of the Standardization Committee’s project to standardize French common law vocabulary in the field of security law. This project led to the publication, in 2009, of the Law of Security Glossary (Common Law), published as Terminology Bulletin 269 (English-French) and Bulletin de terminologie 271 (français-anglais), by the Terminology Standardization Directorate of the Translation Bureau of Canada in collaboration with Promoting Access to Justice in Both Official Languages, Department of Justice Canada.
The term-analysis documents from the “100” series were produced by the Translation Bureau of Canada (BT), those from the “200” series by the Centre for Legal Translation and Documentation (CTDJ) of Ottawa and those from the “300” series by the Centre de traduction et de terminologie juridiques de Moncton (CTTJ).
